The result is that my arms, legs, eye, and ear stop working with no warning.  I can no longer drive a car as I am a hazard to others, besides I would never forgive myself if someone was hurt because of something that I did.  I fall constantly, up stairs, down stairs, just when I’m walking, or things fall out of my hands or arms without me being aware that I have let them go.  My balance is always off and my ability to judge distances makes me bounce off of walls when my eye goes out.  And to top it all off, I am in pain every moment of every day.
Two years ago, my family gave me for my birthday a laptop, my whole life changed.  I could go anywhere without ever leaving home.  I made friends all over the world and talked to people in Peru and Germany and London, and Sydney.  My world expanded overnight, and low and behold, I discovered blogging.  I decided to try my hand at it beginning in December of 2015.
I tried different types of blogging from posts about my life to a recipe blog, and I even tried doing a blog that was mostly for people who like me are over 50.  None of the blogs seemed to fit quite right, so I went off the air for about 8 or 9 weeks and sat down and really thought about whether I wanted to even continue blogging and if I did what did I really want to say.
I decided that I just wanted to write about my life, how I coped with a Chronic Illness, how I got things done, and about lessons that I had learned over 58 years of life.  I was pretty sure that no one was going to be interested but it was what I thought I could continue to write about without stopping to wonder what I was going to put on the page.
So, here we are, a year and a bit later and this is my story, with a little bit of every day, a little bit about where I live, and of course, pictures of Willie and Bailey.
